Drink this beer during the Super Bowl: Hill Farmstead Ann

Have big plans to watch the big game this Sunday? Having friends and family over to join in the festivities? If you’re like many of us you’ll be treating your esteemed guests to hot wings and beer. While wings are standard fare and hard to ruin, you could put a little extra effort into your beer selection.

RateBeer has posted its Top 50 Best New Releases of 2012, and Hill Farmstead Ann took home the top honors. Hill Farmstead, who produces eight of the top ten beers from the list, “fills French Oak wine barrels with honey saison and allows the beer to mature in the presence of resident microflora.”

Sounds divine, yes? So, yeah, this is what we’ll be drinking come Sunday, or maybe even tomorrow. Will you be watching the Super Bowl? What’s on your menu?
