Does size really matter (made ya look)?

size matters

Add a small amount to damp hair and distribute evenly. ”Yeah, right.” I thought as I read the directions on the label while scooping a out a baseball-sized amount. Try as I might, I tend to be heavy-handed when applying hair care products, seldom following the manufacturer’s instructions. But according to Real Simple Magazine (September 2011), this is what typically works best when using these products.

Do you agree? Do you follow the manaufacturer’s directions?

I don’t agree, especially when it comes to conditioners. When I detangle my hair, I don’t want to lose half my hair. I use a lot of conditioner (bra strap length hair) and ever drop is worth it. I make sure I get my money’s worth buy buying on sale and not using premium brand conditioners (drugstore is my friend).

I hear you. I used at least a 1/3 of a bottle of conditioner when I co-wash. I use Trader Joe brand–at $3 for a large bottle, I feel free to use as much as my hair needs:)
      Thx for stopping by!

Heck nawl! I do not agree with those serving sizes. I’m heavy handed and couldn’t even imagine using a quarter size amount for condish or deep condish. If I tried that on these tresses, my hair would say “girl, stop playin’ and give me some more of that good good”.

Dying @ ‘girl stop playin’! I don’t know when I’ve EVER used a quarter sized amount of any hair product.
